Old Demons, New Deities: Himalayan Heritage Meetup, featuring Tenzin Dickie, translator (and editor and author) of the first-ever English-language collection of Tibetan short fiction, in conversation with author Tsering Yangzom Lama about Tibetan writing by women and more. Friday, Jan. 26:

Us&Them: A Writer/Translator Reading Series. The Winter 2018 installment of this reading series featuring writers who are also translators reading both their own and translated work will present Karen Emmerich translating Eleni Vakalo (Greek); Vincent Katz translating Hesiod (Ancient Greek); Anna Moschovakis translating Samira Negrouche (French); and David Boyd translating Toh EnJoe (Japanese).
