Whew, we must be pulling out of the dog days of summer, because there’s now once more something to look forward to in Translationland NYC: several events around the long-awaited Complete Stories of Clarice Lispector, translated by Katrina Dodson. In fact, I just heard that Dodson will be in town for all these events (visiting from California), even though she’s not included in any of the official events listings – I hope we hear from her!) UPDATE: The Aug. 19 and Aug. 20 events will each conclude with a Q&A session featuring Dodson.
